Our Religious Education (RE) curriculum follows the Lincolnshire Locally Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education, published in 2018 and we deliver this using the Discovery RE programme.

In line with the aims of the Lincolnshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education, RE at Mount Street aims to support children in becoming religiously literate and able to hold balanced and informed conversations about religion and belief; to learn about and know about the beliefs of others and to understand and respect the religions of others. 

RE comes under the umbrella of Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development (SMSC), so is found in activities beyond the classroom such as assemblies, discussion and reflection. These take place as a whole school, as a Key Stage and in class.
