Proud to be part of

School meals

Delicious free hot lunches are available to all the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. This scheme is fully funded by the Government and enables your child to have a nutritious meal in the middle of the day.

Our hot lunches are provided by Lincoln Carlton Academy and delivered to Mount Street. You will be able to order your child's lunches on your My Child at School app.

Packed lunches

We strongly encourage families to order a hot dinner for their child each day - however if you wish, your child can also bring in a packed lunch. Please try to ensure that it contains a healthy balance of ingredients, for example a sandwich or tortilla wrap, yoghurt, some raw vegetable, and some fruit. Please don’t include sweets or fizzy drinks in your child’s lunch box.

Children may also bring a piece of fruit for morning playtime.

School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme

Fruit and vegetables are a good source of the nutrients that children need and form part of a healthy, balanced diet.

The School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme (SFVS) helps your child achieve the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. We provide each pupil with a piece of fresh fruit every day and we will work with your child to encourage them to enjoy fruit and vegetables in school.

Please let us know if your child suffers from any known food allergies.

Milk

All children under the age of 5 are provided with a third of a pint of fresh milk each day. This is funded by the Department of Health.

Children who are eligible for Pupil Premium will also be provided with milk by the school each day.

If your child is over the age of 5 and would like milk, please register with our provider, Cool Milk, using the link below.
